On September 4th, 2024, the Swastha Ahar: Ayurvedic Culinary Showcase was organized by the Swasthavritta evam Yoga department, celebrating Nutrition Week. The event featured a variety of Ayurvedic dishes prepared by second-year BAMS students, who not only showcased their culinary skills but also provided insights into the nutritional value and Ayurvedic principles behind the recipes.

Shri Ram Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital celebrated a significant milestone on September 3, 2024, with the inauguration of its Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RIEDC). The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Kangana Yadav, Managing Director, who officially inaugurated the cell and shared her appreciation for the college's initiative to integrate research and innovation with traditional Ayurvedic knowledge. The event was attended by the Principal, Vice Principal, RIEDC coordinators and members, faculty, and students, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the college's commitment to advancing Ayurvedic education and fostering a culture of research and entrepreneurship.

Shree Ram ayurvedic medical college and hospital, Meerut successfully hosted a cancer prevention program that is HPV VACCINATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAM which was held on 26th of June 2024 at the auditorium from 11 am to 2 pm. Aimed to stop HPV infection among young age 9 to 26 year Male/Female. This program was organised by SRPT Department and Serum Institute of India collaboratively. The event was honoured by our principal Dr. Sabiha Bano, vice principal Dr. Ravinder Nirwal , alongside the college faculty, students of all batches and interns. It was held under the supervision of Dr. Shital Chinchalkar , Dr. Khushbu Kaushik & Dr. Neha kukreti. The event was a significant step towards fostering awareness among the students about cervical cancer and HPV vaccination. As cervical cancer is a hot topic nowadays The latest news article mentions that India has the largest share in global deaths due to cervical cancer solely because not many are screened and vaccinated against HPV. Cervavac, the first Indigenous and affordable qHPV is certainly the answer because it’s incidence is on rising scale in our country and also it is the 2nd most common cause of death in females. To deal with this cause is to prevent ourselves from HPV infection and this is done by vaccination. Overall the program was highly informative.

"Research Prospects for Ayurveda Students"

The seminar was graced by the presence of Dr. C. Ashwin Chandra, a distinguished Research Officer from the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), who served as the resource person for the event.
The event was honored by the presence of MD Madam Dr. Kangana Yadav and Principal Dr. Sabiha Bano, alongside the college faculty and students from all batches. The seminar was a significant step towards fostering a research-oriented mindset among the students and enlightened the students about the plethora of opportunities available in research in ayurveda. Dr. Ashwin Chandra motivated the students to consider research as a viable and rewarding career path highlighting the support provided by organizations like CCRAS and ministry of Ayush for aspiring researchers. This session proved to be highly engaging and encouraged active participation from the audience.
Overall, the session was highly informative and left a lasting impression on the attendees. The college looks forward to organizing more such events to continue inspiring and educating its students.
